October 8, 2021 - by Kim Delker
Two professors from the Department of Computer Science will be the panelists at “Data Sciences: Machine Learning and Pattern Mining,” part of the Synergy Meeting sponsored by UNM’s Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC). The talk will be from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 25 on Zoom. Registration is open here.
Abdullah Mueen, associate professor of computer science, will present “Temporal Pattern Mining from Physiological Signal,” and Trilce Estrada, associate professor of computer science, will present “Demystifying Machine Learning in the Scientific Workflow.”
The CTSC-sponsored Synergy Meetings are designed to enhance UNM's translational mission. The series brings together basic, clinical and translational researchers, as well as shared resource directors, to advance projects from bench to bedside and to promote the application of UNM technology to clinical and translational investigations.
